In a letter, 1830 January 28, London, Jones advises his publishers, Colburn and Bentley, London, who are annoyed with him, to print a second edition of "Tales of an Indian camp" and entitle it: "Traditions of the North American Indians"; and states he will write a preface establishing the authenticity of portions of the book.
